Israel – beware of Biden

I hope the Israelis have read former SecDef Gate’s book on Biden – they should ignore his expected counsel/ delaying efforts – as Gate’s said on Biden, he has been literally wrong on all major foreign policy issues in his life.

Foreign Policy and Nation State relationships seem to flummox our DC leadership –  let me break it down what I believe is the issue.  Israel is our most valued relationship in the Middle East – a) because they more consistently will act in their own self interest that most often aligns with ours – for now (all nation state interest evolve – no man based ideas are permanent – hence avoid ‘Entangling Alliances’ (G Washington).  Funny how the more you read the Founders of this country writings (1st person, not the dishonest ‘interpretations’), the more I believe they were divinely inspired).  That does not mean Israel will always act in our interests; they will occasionally act counter to our interest because their nation state interest will sometimes Not align with ours (as an adult you would think we’d all understand that?).  On a personal note, the first time I met Israelis in an official capacity, one was caught trying to view classified papers.  His ‘defense’ was America is big and powerful, Israel is small and needs everything it can get.  Ludicrous logic – probably why Jews in America most often vote emotionally for Dims, certainly not rational given the the increasing antisemitism in the party.  b) We have other ‘allies’ in the Middle East but in my personal experience, all the Arab / Muslim nation allies are more fleeting relationships – i.e. we are only valued to them as long as America is actively providing them something, Now.  The Arabs in my experience are very emotional, short-term thinkers – probably why the Turks and Persians always dominated them in world history.

This latest Middle East disaster should not be a surprise – look no farther than our failed State Department – stocked with ‘highly’ degreed but almost always wrong (name one major  ‘success’ this department has had since 1950?).  If I was to guess why it’s because the people that work at State rarely have actually lived and experienced the real world – they are all educated theorist fed by ideology from schools and professors that also have no real-world experience.  You basically need a Masters to even take the Foreign Service exam – and if that ‘Masters in Foreign Relations’ is not from Georgetown you are likely doomed to the hinterland – you couldn’t create a more insular echo chamber if you tried.  You would think after decades of abject failure, someone in DC would change the music at Foggy Bottom – but No, per normal in all bureaucracies, reality and responsibility for failure is never accounted for – whether at State or any other Federal Department

Now back to Biden in Israel – you know he is there to tell the Israelis not to invade Gaza.  Disregard Hamas is still shooting rockets into Israel. Ignore last week Hamas slaughtered 1400+ Israeli innocents. Ignore that Hamas hold 200 kidnapped hostages.  Ignore that Hamas’ official and constantly stated position is Israel has no right to exist, must be eliminated.  Ignore that Iran has and will continue to arm Hamas – and they also believe Israel, and all Jews should be killed – and Biden and team want to continue a Nuke deal with them that will only ensure the suicide death cult that is running Iran has nuclear weapons? leaders of Persia because the last failed President we had – Carter – allowed that to happen. Ignore that Biden has allowed the Iranian death cult to increase their illegal oil sales by a factor of 10 – enabling the funding that fueled the latest Jihadist atrocity from Gaza.

After decades of failed diplomacy and appeasement, there is only 1 solution to Gaza – eliminate Hamas.  There is No compromise when there is a No overlap in interest – one side must lose.  There is No common ground to ‘negotiate’. The only viable solution for Israel left is to eliminate the threat.  I hope Israel stays that course for their sake.  It will be an ugly military outcome – I predict 100,000 casualties for Hamas to eliminate them.  That is based on what I know to be true about combat and militaries – and they are in combat (pretending otherwise doesn’t change the facts). Hamas has roughly 300,000 active ‘troops’.  Roughly 1/3 – their leadership and the truly indoctrinated are unrecoverable – see the SS of Nazi Germany – the only viable option for this segment is elimination.  There’s 1/3 that will resist until it is obvious they have no chance – they will always be a problem but as long as they are not led and or given no hope of rebirth to their cause they will submit.  The remaining 1/3 of Hamas ‘troops’ is just along for the ride, will jump ship when the end is obvious.  Don’t confuse that to the total population of  Gaza ~3.2 million – this includes the 55% that are “loyalists” in this equation aligned with Hamas – but not armed fighters. As a Christian, I’m obligated to protect these lost sheep (the Good Germans), but I admit it is a hard task at times to live with.  The remainder in Gaza (~45%) are the one subjected to the ‘tyranny of the majority’ – and controlled by the barrel of a gun that is the ultimate Autocrat power base that is Hamas in Gaza.  Hence – to be successful, Israel must eliminate the truly committed Hamas elements – a very ugly task. War is never humane or without tragedy – but one that must be waged by Israel in my opinion given the facts and results of decades of diplomatic failure.

Bottom-line, I hope Israel ignores Biden (let’s face it his handlers, since he’s clearly not in charge of his mental faculties, let alone the executive branch).  In the near term, it will be a painful process to complete the task – may lead to a wider Middle East conflict – but putting off tough decisions/ actions have rarely led to better outcomes in human history.  Now is Israel’s time to act – or face worse later.  From an American perspective and interest (a parallel of here domestically with Trump being the buffer keeping the corrupt state from unfettered actions on those of us that that oppose the unconstitutional Federal Leviathan),  Israel (for all its faults – like Trump) is the ‘flawed’ vessel but the right one to fight the evil that is these Jihadists death cultist – we should do all we can now to enable Israel to finish this now or face it ourselves later.
